Review by Gyandutt Pandey

Live At The Channel 7 19 88 is a raw and energetic album by the legendary Iggy Pop. Recorded during a live performance at The Channel in Boston, the album captures the essence of Iggy's live shows with its high-octane energy and electrifying performances.

The album features some of Iggy's most popular tracks such as "Raw Power," "Search and Destroy," and "I Wanna Be Your Dog," all of which are performed with an intensity that only Iggy can deliver. The band backing Iggy up is tight, with powerful guitar riffs and a driving rhythm section that perfectly complements Iggy's vocals.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "No Fun," which sees Iggy and the band really letting loose and having fun on stage. The crowd's energy is palpable, and it's clear that everyone in the room is having a great time.

Is Capitalism circa 2014 era vulgaris so satisfying that Anger, Energy, Outrage no longer hold sway on the public stage? Do people really prefer ke$hah and bieber to RAAAAAAAW POWER!

Setlist aside, I think Iggy sounds better on this tour than last year's RSD 'Kiss My Blood' recording.

Amazing gig...the International 2 on Plymouth Grove. It proves me right, it was too fuckin dark on stage...I thought I dreamt that.

I'm pretty sure this was a king biscuit flower hour radio show that had Andy McCoy from Hanoi Rocks on guitar

Hey Claude....do you have any more footage from this or any other gig at the International 2? I saw the Ramones there twice in the late 80's & would love to see any footage from those gigs.

Saw this band two night in a row with Janes Addiction opening - two of the greatest shows I've ever seen and I've seen lots. Andy McCoy is the man and Alvi and Paul Garristo are an awesome rhytm section. Alvin wrote a book about the tour called Neighborhood Threat. GET IT for the Andy stories alone. Believe it or not, in spite of Andy, Iggy was sober throughout the tour. Maybe that's why he seems so pissed.

Seems to be a coloured vinyl reissue of the official 1990 France double LP release on Revenge records.

This, Blah Blah Blah and Free were the only times when he performed an album in its entirety.
